Virginia M. Miranda

With a heavy heart, we announce that our beloved precious mother, grandma, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 2, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Virginia’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Virginia (Virgie) was born to Urbano and Rosa Carrillo on October 13, 1950, in Roswell, NM. She married Richard Miranda in 1971, he preceded her in death in 2014. They shared many happy memories together. Mom was a very genuine, quiet, kind-hearted person. She loved all her family and especially lived her life for her daughters and grandsons; they were her first thought of the day. She was there for them in every way possible. She taught them from cooking with love to respecting themselves and others to always having faith in God. She will be missed and thought of for the rest of our lives. Left to cherish moms legacy are her daughters: Valerie Cobos and husband Richard who always helped her out with everything he could, of Roswell; Ana Alicia Miranda and partner Dusty Boles of Las Cruces; grandsons who meant the world to her: Richie Cobos and Joaquin Boles; sister and hangout partner, Gloria Anaya; brother who always did everything for her, Orlando Carrillo and wife Gloria; sister-in-law, Priscilla Carrillo, who enjoyed talking to her for many hours on the phone, all of Roswell; special niece, Adriana Anaya (Rick) and sons Andres and Christian of Albuquerque; special nephew and godson, Melvin Anaya; sons: Gabriel and Jacob of Roswell; special nephew, Floyd Carrillo and sons Dominic and Andrew of Roswell; nieces: Amanda Carrillo, Jennifer Pena and Jessica Carabajal of Roswell; nephews: Armando Carrillo of Albuquerque and Edward Najar of Roswell; step-sisters: Diane and Christine (Teeney) Gamboa; step-brother, Andrew Gamboa; and special friend Maria Torrez of Albuquerque. Virginia is preceded in death by mother and father: Urbano and Rosa Carrillo; stepmother, Maxine Carrillo; brothers: Facundo (Cooney), Melvin, Rennie, Gilbert, Floyd and Armando Carrillo; sister, Martha Najar; special nephew, Joe Ray Carrillo; and niece, Marla Anaya. There will be no services at this time per the wishes of mom. Virgina’s tribute was lovingly written by her family. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart.
