Anita Salazar

ANITA SALAZAR, 64, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Services will be held at a later date. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Anita’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. On January 31, 1956, Anita was born to Bonifacio and Josephina Dominguez in Roswell, New Mexico. She graduated from Roswell High School. Anita loved cooking and trying out new recipes. She enjoyed scrolling through Facebook, shopping at Hobby Lobby, making wreaths, and taking pictures. Anita’s most treasured memories were the times she spent with her children and grandchildren. She liked watching TV, especially seeing movies on TLC. Anita will be deeply missed, but her joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who loved her. SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Anita are her children: Chelsea Abila and husband George Abila, Alex Dominguez, and Jarreth Ortiz; grandchildren: Fabian “Feyito” Maciel, Elijah “Peanut” Salazar, Julian “JuJu” Salazar, Aaliyah “Liyah” Maciel, and George “Georgie” Abila Jr.; siblings: Irma Meza, Yvonne Canales, Kathy Vigil, Henry Dominguez, Alex Dominguez (Flo), Dolores Salazar (Abel), Helen Dominguez (Frank), Veronica Marquez (David), and Lupe Dominguez; nieces and nephews: Melissa Canales, Analiza Dominguez, Alyana Dominguez, Lily Sedillo, Destinie Marquez, Mercedes Chavez, Crystal Dominguez, Chanay Meza, Celina Dominguez, Alfred “Cassie” Salazar, Sarah Sanchez, and Ruby Meza; as well as her close friends: Nellie Sosa (Phillip), Lizzy Owen, Hank Townsend (Lynn), Debra Medina, Marvin Reese, Kathy Kautz, Silvestor Prieto and Adriana, Minie Pike (Chris), Diana and Ryan Kinne, Rahab and Francisco Echeverria, Laura Aragonez, Margaret Romero, Melba Gonzales (Alex), and Mirlinda Padilla. PRECEDED: Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Bonifacio and Josephina Dominguez; grandparents, Jose Miguel and Sara Archuleta, and Mariano and Candida Dominguez; and brothers: Johnny Archuleta, Johnny Dominguez; brother-in-law, Steve Vigil Jr.; niece, Monica Canales; and nephews, Jose Miguel Canales. A special “Thank You” to Lenadra Finney her favorite doctor, Amy Villanueva, and Dr. Mazer of Albuquerque, New Mexico. YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE You never said I'm leaving You never said goodbye.
