Frank Fermin Montoya

On November 4, 2020, our beloved son, husband, brother, dad, grandpa, and uncle, Frank F. Montoya passed away. He was born to Roger and Virgila Montoya on July 7, 1960, in Roswell, New Mexico. SERVICES: A Viewing for Frank will be at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 10:00 AM. January 13, 1996, Frank and Erica married in Roswell, New Mexico, and were together thirty-six wonderful years. He loved watching his favorite football team the “New Orleans Saints” games. Frank enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and playing on-line poker. Back in the day, he would like to see Rooster fighting. Frank liked taking a stroll on his scooter around town. He loved being with his family. Frank coached at Eastside Little League for many years. Frank joined the U.S. Marines to serve his country from 1979 to 1982. He went to Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Okinawa, and the Philippines. Frank loved all these places and many more we could mention. He had many jobs working at T.M.C. NOVA Bus, Farmer’s Market, and many more. Frank loved to play Chess with his buddy, Marcus Hurley. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. SURVIVORS: Frank leaves behind his wife, Erica Renee Montoya; brother, Manuel Montoya; sons: Cory Montoya, Fermine Montoya, Stanley Montoya, and daughter-in-law Elia Archuleta; daughters: Inez Montoya and Catrina Montoya; goddaughter, Sara Dutchover; father-in-law, Raymond Farmer; special grandkids: Jr and Baby V. Virgila; thirty grandkids; three great-grandkids; as well as a special person he loved dearly, June (Granny) Barrett and her family. PRECEDED: Preceding Frank in death were his parents, Roger S. and Virgila Montoya; sons: Fransisco Montoya Jr., Mark Montoya; brother, Roger Montoya; sister, Catrina Montoya; mother-in-law, Linda Montoya; brother-in-law, Salvador Briseno; nephew, Ernesto (Tito) Montoya; and grandparents. HONORARY PALLBEARER: Dan Knorr is blessed to serve as the Honorary Pallbearer PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as pallbearers are Marcus Hurley, Fermine Montoya, Stanley Montoya, Jesus Torres, Chris Fuentes, and Elia Archuleta.
