Joseph (Joe) Sedillo Jr.

Joseph (Joe) Sedillo Jr, 45, of Roswell, New Mexico, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. There will be a viewing for Joseph at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, October 14, 2021, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On August 16, 1976, Joe was born to Margaret Martinez and Joseph Sedillo Sr, in Roswell, New Mexico. He attended University High School, where he graduated in 1994. Joe was a very hard worker and had numerous jobs. Before moving to Roswell, the last company he worked for was Intrepid Potash in Carlsbad, New Mexico, and he was currently working at Leprino Foods. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars and his motorcycle. He was a very kind and caring person who would always help anyone in need. Joe was a very happy-go-lucky person who had a smile that would brighten the room, and he always had positive vibes. Everybody that knew Joe loved him. He was not only a son, brother, and father to his children, he was also a father figure to his siblings. Joe always gave good advice to whoever needed it and touched many lives. Joe will be tremendously missed by everyone. Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Joe are his mother Margaret Martinez and father Joseph Sedillo Sr. both of Roswell; siblings: Jessica Carrillo, Michael Sedillo, and Lauren Sedillo all of Roswell; children: Matthew Sedillo of Roswell NM, Jonathon Sedillo, Gabriel Sedillo, and Adreanna Sedillo all of Carlsbad New Mexico, and Sienna Sedillo of Roswell, New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Jose is preceded in death by his grandparents: Augustine and Jessie Garcia, Joseph and Mary Sedillo; stepfather, Orlando Martinez, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are Michael Sedillo, Matthew Sedillo, Jonathon Sedillo, Gabriel Sedillo, Jose Luis Gonzales, Ryan Kee, Raymond Vasquez, and Sean Kerwick. The family of Joe Sedillo would like to thank everyone who has helped us through this difficult time. On behalf of Joseph’s Family, We “Thank you” for all the love, prayers, and kindness!!! Joseph’s tribute was written in his honor by his family.
