Vivian Elizabeth Williams

A loving mother and grandmother, VIVIAN ELIZABETH WILLIAMS, 77, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico. SERVICES: A Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. On May 3, 1942, Vivian was born to Willie Williams and Rosa Lee Jenkins in Fort Myers, Florida. She graduated from High School, and later attended and graduated college with a Masters Degree in Social Work. Welcoming, caring, and giving, Vivian had the most generous, loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Vivian was pleasant natured and loved talking to people. She had a great love for socializing with friends and family, listening to music, and singing. Cooking and catering was Vivian’s passion. She delighted in cooking for her loved ones and tending to her garden. An avid fan of all sports, Vivian never missed a moment to cheer for her teams. The gift of the gab and an engaging personality, Vivian was always looking for ways to serve others. Her life was one of sacrifice and service to her family, friends, and community. She was a member of the American Heart Association, VETS, St. Judes, and Breast Cancer Association. On March 7, 2010, Vivian was honored with an award from Women's History Month of Roswell, NM. She was also recognized for working patiently and with loving compassion towards both children and adults with special needs. She leaves behind her legacy full of love, passion, and perseverance. Vivian’s spirit and smile will be dearly missed by her loved ones, who look to the day of reuniting with her one day in paradise. PRECEDED: Preceding Vivian in death: her daughter, Desiree Hutchins; parents, Willie Williams and Rosa Lee Jenkins; and sisters: Mary Lillie Sibert, Dorothy King, Lucille Gardner, and Marie Brown. SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish Vivian's memory are her children: Carlos Williams, Stephanie Baugham, Perrette Baugham-Reid; grandchildren: David Lovato, Autumn Hutchins, Jamond Williams, Ashlé Hutchins, Michael Burt, Jazmine Burt, Faith Reid, Hope Reid; great-grandchildren: Nikole Bradley, Jacob Lopez; brothers: Louis “Pop” Sibert, James Williams of Fort Myers; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends: Nancy Salas, Russell and Nancy Morales, and Patti Robinson. The family wishes to acknowledge and give a special “Thanks” to friends and co-workers who have reached out and to all of her extended children.
