Christine Hernandez

Memorial services will be held at 10 am Monday, March 22, 2010 at St. John's Catholic Church for Christine Sarah Hernandez, 46, of Roswell. Christine passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Christine was born May 24, 1963 to Gomesindo Charlie Contreras and Sarah Martinez Contreras in Roswell, NM. She liked helping her family with everything and listening to oldies. Although she loved to party with family and friends, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Christine is survived by three sons; Jimmy Sosa Jr. and his wife Suzie, Manuel Sosa, Robert Sosa and his wife Anastacia all of Roswell, two daughters; April Sosa Murillo of Alamogordo and Rosie White and her husband Trey of Hobbs, ten grandchildren; Alexa and Benny Jr. Murillo, Ziana, Siriah, Makayla and Makenzie Sosa, Manuel Sosa Jr., Lawrence Tolentino, Xavier and Alethea Marquez, three god children; Xavier Garcia, Tino Rodriguez and Lucy Contreras, four brothers; Charles, Ernesto, Frank and Paul Contreras and his girlfriend Geneva Gonzalez, three sisters; Victoria Sepulveda and her husband Javier, Esther Moreno and her fiancée Eddie Perreira, Lupe Hodge and her husband Ray, numerous nieces and nephews, and a special niece; Priscilla Anderson. She is preceded in death by her first husband Jimmy Sosa, her parents, Gomesindo and Sarah Contreras, two sisters Benita and Lucy Contreras, one brother, Pete Contreras, one nephew, Frank Contreras Jr., three nieces Maggie Contreras, Maria Robledo and Mariann Franco. Cremation was under the direction of Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory. We knew it was time to say goodbye And with that, all we could do was cry All the pain just seemed to cease And the look on your face was filled with peace We told you it was okay to go Be with the one love, you lost long ago Don’t worry we’ll be together again Just as God wanted, up in Heaven So as you all watch us from above Guide us through life and fill our hearts with love It’s not forever, just for a little while I will hold in my heart the memory of that pretty smile Rest in Peace Love Always, Your Niece, Priscilla Anderson
