OBITUARY FOR Clyde R Rodriquez Clyde R Rodriquez, (66), passed away on January 1, 2016. He was born September 29, 1949, to Faustino and Josefina Reyes Rodriquez in Artesia, New Mexico. Woodworking being a passion, Clyde was a laborer working as a ‘Handyman’ for over 50 years. He also made very good beef jerky. Friends were a special part of Clyde’s life, especially Hector Hernandez, Jerome Ochoa and Cayetano Mendoza. He went to breakfast with friends every morning, even during the recent big storm, when he made it out of the driveway to meet them. He was always on the go, unless it was to stay home on the porch visiting with his friends there. Clyde loved his wife, Mary with all of his heart. They spent 35 years together. Preceding Clyde in death are his parents, Faustino and Josefina Reyes Rodriquez and one brother, Sammy Rodriquez. Those remaining to carry on Clyde’s heritage are his wife, Mary Rodriquez of Artesia, NM, daughters: Melissa Jimenez and Mo of Artesia, NM; Tracy Torres and Willie of Artesia, NM; step-daughters Charlotte Andrade of Roswell, NM; Christina Galindo and Danny of Artesia, NM; step-son: Conrad Hernandez and friend, Kim of Artesia, NM; brother, Lonnie Rodriquez and Amelia of Artesia, NM; step-son: Mark Jimenez of Roswell, NM and step-daughter: Angela Covarrubio and Dennis of Pasadena, TX. Additional survivors include grandchildren: Crystal Carrales; Lorena Losoya; Kristopher Losoya; Mateo Torres; Noa Torres; Francisca Leon; Patricia Leon; Lorenzo Leon and numerous great-grandchildren. A viewing will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016, 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace in Artesia, NM. Following at 6:30 PM a rosary will be recited. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 7, 2016 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace in Artesia, NM. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Lake Arthur, NM. Deacon Pablo Merjil will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Lorenzo, Kris, Mateo, Conrad, Hector, Jerome, and Cayetano.
