Daniel “Bingo” Marquez October 29, 1963 - June 23, 2021 Danny left this earthly home and walked into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Danny’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Danny never met a stranger and was loved and respected by many in the community. Numerous times he would be stopped somewhere by a child to say, “Hi Mr. Milk Man!” In Danny’s 57 years here on earth, there is no way to count the number of friends and lives that he has touched. While on vacation, his family joked about being miles away from home and running into “an old friend” and stopping to have a conversation to catch up. A quick trip to the grocery store could turn into a 30-minute trip with the many friends that would stop to say hello. Danny was very serious about his relationship with Christ and would always remind everyone that God is good!! When the Bible said that a man must show himself friendly to have friends, he certainly did that and would be there any time to help and lend a hand. Danny also had a way of adopting family and calling them his tribe once a member of that tribe always a member. He also had great pride in being a Roswell High School Coyote and playing on their football and baseball teams. Left to cherish Danny’s memory and continue his legacy are his wife, Pam Marquez of the family home; daughters: Daniella Marquez of Roswell, and Antoinette Marquez and fiancé Johnny Barela of Roswell; grandchildren: Uyriah Marquez, Issac Marquez, Azyleah Marquez, and Audrina Cobos all of Roswell; mother Stella Marquez; brothers: Richard Marquez and wife Linda, Art Marquez and wife Brenda, Sammy Marquez; sister, Amy Garcia and husband Richard; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as the special little love of his life, Jenesis Gandarilla. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Richard Marquez, Sr; and his brother, Roy the Cowboy Marquez. A Celebration of Life for Danny will take place at Church on the Move, 901 West Brasher Road Roswell, NM, Friday, July 2, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Pastor Troy Smotherman will officiate the services. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. SO BE IT! Danny’s tribute was written in his honor by his family.
