Donna Lee James

Donna Lee James was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She went to be with the angels on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at age 60. Born on April 10, 1961, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Charles and Marcy James, Donna was always a daddy’s girl. Now she is walking with him on the streets of gold. Donna attended Valley View, Sierra Middle School, and graduated from Goddard High School in 1979. Donna had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and a radiating laugh that warmed the hearts of everyone she met. Donna found her true love for traveling after working at the Hello World Travel Agency. She loved seeing the world and spending time with friends and family. Her gift and passion in life were crafting heartfelt gifts for those she loved. She proudly held the title of family historian, saving every memory and accomplishment, especially those that involved her nieces and nephew. Donna is survived by her mother, Marcy James; brothers: Terry and Rodney James; nephew, K.C. James; nieces: Amber, Breanna, Dakota and Sarah James; uncle, Ed Janssen and wife Lori; uncle, Art Janssen; as well as many cousins. Preceding Donna in death is her father, Charles James.
