Guadalupe Barrandey

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Guadalupe Barrandey on October 5, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on March 29, 1958, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Manuel Grijalva and Eloisa Barrandey, Guadalupe lived a life full of love and dedication to her family. She was the cherished partner to Manuel Camacho for 35 years, a devoted mother of five children, a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. Lupe, as she was lovingly known, had a passion for cooking and sharing her wisdom with those around her. Her nurturing spirit and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. She is survived by her children: Paul Talamantes (wife Joeanna), Tony Talamantes, Joel Camacho, and Lizbeth Camacho (Raymond Espinoza); as well as her grandchildren: Alisha, Vidiriana, Yaneli, Alexandra, Bianca Talamantes, Genesis Rodriguez, Joelito, Jazabel Camacho, Ezekiel, Eliza, Evelyn, and Emiliano Espinoza; her beloved great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Ezzydran, and Benji Talamantes, Jayden and Daniel Ramos, and Jonah Rodriguez; also her brother, Guillermo Grijalva. Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents: Manuel and Eloisa; her daughter, Paola Talamantes, and her grandson, Carlos Torres. Her legacy of love, warmth, and wisdom will live on through her family and all who knew her. Guadalupe’s life was a testament to kindness, strength, and selfless devotion, a light that will continue to guide those she leaves behind. Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate the beauty of her life and the countless lives she touched. In the laughter of her grandchildren, the meals she lovingly prepared, and the wisdom she shared, her spirit will continue to live on. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The memories of her love and presence will be cherished forever, bringing comfort to her family in the days ahead.
