J. Ruben Molina, 62, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with J. Ruben’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. A viewing will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. On August 8, 1961, J. Ruben was born to Maria Herrera Galindo and Everardo Molina Brito in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. In his late thirties he purchased a small ranch with horses and roosters/chickens. He loved owning his quarter horses and was fortunate to win a few races both at the racetrack (Ruidoso Downs, The Downs Racetrack, and Sunland Park Racetrack) and local match races. He loved watching Horse Racing on TV and almost always got together with his wife and sons to see the Kentucky Derby the First Saturday in May. J. Ruben watched and liked all sports but really loved his soccer and cheered for his favorite soccer team which was Club America. He helped everyone and always said things how they were. Family was really important to him and almost every Saturday Night it was tradition to play loteria at the Molina's. Dad enjoyed springtime with Mom/Wife planting flowers and getting his sprinkler for the grass ready. He was the Go-To for making the asado for quinceanera's, Wedding’s, or any other special occasion. Dad had a special way to carve up a watermelon in the July Heat that everyone around him enjoyed when it was their time to get a slice. In 2013 his first grand baby was born and he was super excited to be a grandpa, and yes made the asado for his grandbabies baby shower. Since then, in total he has three grand babies all boys who he loved. He was a Great Man and he left behind some really big shoes to fill. He just left and is already missed dearly. J. Ruben is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Santillan; children: Ruben Everardo Molina, daughter in law Hailyn Palacios, and Ricardo Molina; grandchildren: Ruben Emiliano Molina, Adriel Alejandro Molina, and Mateo Giovanny Molina; siblings: Graciela Gutierrez, Abelardo Molina Herrera, and Rosario Molina Herrera; sisters-in-law and spouses: Juana Santillan, Fransisca Santillan, Herlinda Galvan and Jose Elias Galvan, Rosa Bedolla and Jose Bedolla, Laura Hernandez and Alvaro Hernandez, Belen Romero and Juan Romero; nieces and nephews: Juan Mauricio Santillan, Jose Macias, Frank Macias, Alejandro Macias, Eduardo Macias, Arnulfo Santillan, Juan de Dios Santillan, Cecilia Mesa, Narciso Ⅱ Santillan, Gloria McIntyer, Erika Morales, Jose Santillan, Lorena Borunda, Jose Galvan, Elizabeth Jimenez, Lorenza Peralta, Jose Horacio Bedolla, Bernie Bedolla, Araceli Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez, Alvaro Hernandez, Laura Perry, Frankie Romero, Diego Romero, Tania Armendariz, Larissa Armendariz, Sergio Armendariz, Yuri Armendariz, Lisa Molina, Oleyda Molina, Abraham Gutierrez, Mary Gutierrez, Marisol Gutierrez, Jose Luisa Molina, Norma Castillo, Ana Marina Molina, Abelardo Molina, Erica Molina, Alan Molina, Elizabeth Molina, Mario Perez, Alexis Perez, Sergio Molina, Rosita Molina, Julio Molina, and Jessica Molina; close friends: Ismael “Mayito” Franco, Jose Luis Pompa, Ignacio “Nacho” Villalobos, an Natividad “Nati” Romero; and so many more close friends and people who loved him. J. Ruben is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Jesus Molina and Juliana Brito; maternal grandparents: Rafael Herrera and Rosa Galindo; parents: Everardo Molina Brito and Maria Herrera Galindo; siblings: Luz Olga Molina, Arturo Molina, Jose Luis Molina, and Alonso Molina; brothers-in-law: Narciso Santillan and Jose “Pepe” Santillan; niece, Jessica Perez Molina; nephews: Javier Molina and Roberto Santillan; and Compadre, Victor Palacios. Those blessed to be chosen as honorary pallbearers are Ruben Everardo Molina, Ruben Emiliano Molina, Adriel Alejandro Molina, Mateo Giovanny Molina, and Junior Santillan. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ricardo Molina, Juan Mauricio Santillan, Alexis Perez Molina, Mario Perez Molina, Horacio Bedolla, Bernie Bedolla, Frankie Romero, and Rafael Santillan.
