Kamey Diane Rodgers

It is with infinite sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Kamey Diane Rodgers, 40, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, in Roswell. She was born to Dave McIntosh and Peggy (Devenport) McIntosh in Roswell, NM. Kamey was to everybody exactly what they needed; which meant something different to each person. She began as a daughter to her loving parents Dave and Peggy, and became a sister to Shelby, Sherie, Richard and Daniel and enjoyed their many discussions on any subject. As a young woman she married Aric Griffin and soon became a mother to Eathyn and Samanda. After the untimely passing of her first husband Kamey met and fell in love with Bryan Rodgers. They married on December 16, 2006. Her family grew to include a daughter Khloee. Kamey was passionate about her family. Her kids were her number one priority. In addition to raising three busy kids, Kamey was a friend to all around her and became the President of the Goddard High School band boosters. She was a strong supporter of all her children in their softball, football, and band activities. Always a busy working mother and wife, she still found time to relax by taking the family camping doing what she loved, with whom she loved most in this world. As a lover of all things purple, she grew to love butterflies and peacocks and enjoyed their tremendous beauty. Kamey loved Bryan and often told him he was the best husband in the world. Everyone will miss her smiles and laughter, an amazing laugh and smile. Kamey was proceded in death by her first husband, Aric Griffin. Those left to carry on Kamey’s heritage are her husband, Bryan Rodgers of the family home in Roswell, NM; son, Eathyn Griffin of Las Cruces, NM; daughters: Samanda Griffin and Khloee Rodgers of Roswell, NM, parents: Dave and Peggy McIntosh, sisters: Shelby Dutton of Roswell, NM, and Sherie Stringer of Dallas, TX; brothers: Richard (Shannon) McIntosh of Roswell, NM, and Daniel Stringer of CA. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a lot of extended family. Viewing will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 30, 2016, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in Kamey’s honor Saturday, October 1, 2016, 2:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Kim Chesser.
