It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Kathryn R Keene, 80, on Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Roswell, New Mexico. Viewing will be at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 8:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 1:00 pm. Graveside Service will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Silver City, New Mexico, Thursday, September 6, 2018, 10:00 am. On July 10, 1938, Kathryn was born to Claude Lenderman and Frances Racheal Taylor in Mt Ida, Arkansas. She was previously employed at Maxwell House Western Wear in Silver City, NM and had retired from Chaves County, where she drove a water truck. Kathryn enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking and going to the casino. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her grandkids and taking care of everyone, especially her family. Kathryn’s family will carry fond memories of her and she will be greatly missed by all. Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Kathryn are her husband, Willie Leo Burnes; children: Frances Lewis (Terry), Larry Keene (Kim), Randy Keene (Marisela), Leslie Keene, Sandra Sampson (Chuck), Alyce Holmes (Mike), Willie Burnes Jr., Coy Burnes, William Burnes (Danielle); grandchildren: Crystal Carrillo, Russell Lewis (Ana), Spring Keene, Tania Simpson (Buddy), Nikki Jepson (Will), Tyler Keene (Ruth), Morgan Cook (Josh), Fabiola Keene, Samantha Keene, Rachael Hall (Damion), Lindsey Garcia, Tyrell Keene, Andrew Madden (Mallory), Justin Yandell (Leah), Chandra Blair (Carl); seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Hardin and Mary Hazel Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Kathryn in death were her first husband, Marvin Keene; grandaughter, Misty Lewis Gonzales; parents: Claude L. Lenderman and Francis R. Lenderman (Taylor); grandparents, Margaret Taylor and Pink Taylor; siblings: Eugene Lenderman, Clyde Lenderman, Buddy Lenderman, Kenneth Lenderman. Pallbears, Russell Lewis, Clay Lewis, Justin Yandell, Tyrell Keene, Carl Swope and Joshua Whittington.
