In Loving Memory of Lenny Dale Romero "Leno" Lenny Dale Romero, affectionately known as "Leno," entered this world on July 10, 1984, in Roswell, NM. He departed from our lives too soon on January 22, 2024, in Hobbs, NM, at the tender age of 39. Lenny is survived by his cherished children, Isaiah, Ava, and Katali. His loving fiance Tanya Loflin. His legacy is further celebrated through his remarkable achievements in business, including Hoovers Detailing, Dispensary Near Me, and of course his roosters. He was the beloved son of Virginia and George Romero and a caring brother to George David & Bilma Leubinka Romero, as well as a loving uncle to Emily, Alejandro, and Isabella as well as a nephew, primo, and friend who each loved him tremendously. Lenny is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Uncle Freddy Gomez, Tia Lucy Sosa, and best friend Sergio Nevarez. Lenny’s vibrant personality made him the life of the party. His sense of humor, combined with his ability to be serious when needed, made him a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him. He had an unwavering commitment to those he cared about, always having their back, offering protection, and would give the shirt off his back to make sure you knew you were going to be taken care of. He created laughter and joy that will forever echo in the hearts of those who shared those moments with him. His love for enjoying every single day painted a picture of a man who truly embraced life. Always traveling to create new experiences. He had immense pride in his ability to get up daily talk to God, and start with his hustle and grind spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew him. What will be remembered most about Lenny is his infectious smile, great sense of humor, enormous heart, and his capacity for giving and sharing love. In the hearts of those who knew him, Leno will always be remembered as a great man, a great dad, a great friend, a source of joy, and a symbol of enduring love. This tribute to Lenny was lovingly written by his family, as a testament to the deep impact he had on their lives and the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bethany Funeral Home. On Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 9:30 AM, is the Rosary followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church. Reception to follow at New Beginnings.
