Lillie Q Harbach

A loving mother, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Lillie Q Harbach, 78, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, in the family home surrounded by her loving family. SERVICES: There will be a Memorial Service for Lillie at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM. On March 4, 1943, Lillie was born to Enrique Quiroz and Anastacia Mendez in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Later after high school, she continued her education and attended college, receiving an EEG Technician Certificate. Lillie was the beloved wife of Robert Harbach, whom she married on November 18, 1978, in Roswell, New Mexico. Prior to retirement, she worked for many years as an EEG Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital and Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Lillie kindly donated to Daystar and Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. She was a devoted member of Church on the Move in Roswell, where she enjoyed teaching the word of God. Lillie loved to cook for her family and friends, especially for Christmas; it was her favorite holiday. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed also fishing. Lillie’s family will carry fond memories of her, and all will greatly miss her. SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Lillie are her husband, Robert Harbach; children: Dr. Jane Swanson and husband Kevin of Las Cruces NM and Michael and Hilda Quiroz of Roswell NM; grandchildren: Erica and Lalo Castrillo of Phoenix AZ, Crystal and Thomas Buzan of Scottsdale AZ, Tanner Swanson of Las Cruces NM, Heather Quiroz of Lovington NM, Lilly Miller of Lovington NM, Michael Quiroz of Lovington NM, and Chad Quiroz of Lovington NM; great-grandchildren: Anthony Castrillo of Phoenix AZ, Matthew Castrillo of Las Cruces NM, Zoe Castrillo of Phoenix AZ, Bailey Buzan, Braeden and Bently Buzan, Azaija Castrillo, Malex Cordona, Evany Cordona, Chad Quiroz Jr. and Maddie Quiroz; siblings: Julian Quiroz and Grace, Salvador Quiroz, Louis Quiroz and Julia, Elva Valenzuela and Joe, Emma Espinoza and Julio, Yolanda Faselu and Eddie, Henry Q. Gutierrez and Karen, Janie Doporto and Ernest, and Manuel Quiroz; as well as two precious pets: Sugar and Coco. PRECEDED: Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, Enriquez Quiroz and Anastacia Mendez; sisters: Lala Garcia and Sandy Ortega; and her brother, Benjamin Quiroz.
