A visitation at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 am. On December 27, 2000, Marco Antonio Munoz was born to Marco Antonio and Claudia Munoz. He graduated from Roswell High School in 2020, before beginning his career in the oilfield service industry, most recently with BDS Enterprises in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Marco was loved by all who knew him; he was the type of person who always had a quick joke to make someone laugh, and he never failed to light up a room with a smile and a good laugh. Marco enjoyed life to the fullest; he loved to travel, gaming, going to the gym, eating and drinking Monsters. He was a baseball fan, and his choice of whether to cheer for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees depended on the day, who he was talking to, and what hat he was wearing. Those left to treasure and cherish memories of Marco eternally are his parents, Marco Antonio and Claudia Munoz; his grandparents, Marco Antonio Munoz and Rosa Isela Munoz; his sisters Jennifer Padilla Munoz, Rosa Isela Munoz and Isabella Anahi Munoz; uncles Miguel Angel Munoz, Fabian Munoz, and Victor Munoz; aunts Veronica Munoz, Rosa Isela Munoz, Patty Munoz, and Veronica Munoz; niece Sofia Kataleya Lupercio; nephew Julian David Avila; close friends Michael Armijo, Jasmine Musick, Tatianna Torrez, and many other friends that he loved dearly. Marco had a special bond with his cousin, who he lovingly referred to as his brother throughout his life Miguel Angel Munoz Jr. With Miguel being Marco’s chosen brother, he also loved Miguel’s wife, Alondra Munoz, like a sister, and their two children Mia Aurora Munoz and Miguel Armando Munoz as his niece and nephew. Marco is preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Avie Neveah Munoz, Grandfather Eliazar Padilla Valtierra, and Grandmother Margarita Padilla. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Marco Antonio Munoz, Marco Antonio Munoz, Miguel Angel Munoz, Miguel Angel Munoz Jr, Angel Alejandro Padilla, Eric Onsurez, Jasmine Musick, and Michael Armijo. Blessed to have been chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are Victor Munoz, Fabian Munoz, and Alfredo Parra. The family of Marco wishes to extend their sincere thank you to BDS Enterprises, the Parra Family, Tatianna Perez, Hailey Gilbert, Angel Nunez, GVA Mobile Wash, Alyssa Gurrola, Crashsite Candies, and Kathleen Ramirez for all the love and support they have shown during this time.
