Margaret Orosco Sedillo

Margaret Orosco Sedillo, 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on June 10, 1939, in Lovington, NM to Isidro and Dominga Trujillo Orosco. As the matriarch of her family, Margaret was very family oriented and chose to be a homemaker. She was known by all to be a very good cook. Always being patient and kind, she believed in forgiveness for everyone. Margaret had a strong belief in her Catholic faith. Preceding Margaret in death are her parents: Isidro Orosco and Dominga Trujillo; and one daughter, Selina Marie Sedillo of Roswell, NM. Survivors left to remember Margaret are her husband, James Sedillo of Roswell, NM; Jamie V. Sedillo, son, of Roswell, NM; Bernadette Sedillo, daughter, and Mike Sanchez, son-in-law, both of Las Cruces, NM; Matthew Alirez, grandson, of Roswell, NM; Jerome Sedillo, son, and Kim Sedillo, daughter-in-law, both of Denver, CO; Marissa Sedillo, granddaughter, of Las Vegas, NM; Jerome Sedillo Jr, grandson, of Denver, CO; Donovan Sedillo, grandson, of Denver, CO; and Selina Sedillo, granddaughter, of Denver, CO; Cecilia Leyva, sister, and Proto, brother-in-law, of Artesia, NM; Jane Flores, sister, and Carlos, brother-in-law, of Roswell, NM; Manuel Orosco, brother, and Paz, sister-in-law, of Carlsbad, NM; Teresa Anstead, sister, and Michael, brother-in-law, of Clermont, FL; Helen Padilla, sister-in-law, of Roswell, NM; Gilbert Sedillo, brother-in-law and Bennie, sister-in-law of Dexter, NM; Ruben Sedillo, brother-in-law, of Roswell, NM; and Joe Sedillo, brother-in-law, and Helen, sister-in-law of Roswell, NM. Special friends include: Roxanna and Gary James of Roswell, NM; and Peggy and Bill Aguirre of Alamogordo, NM. Margaret also had numerous nephews and nieces that she loved very much. Visitation for Margaret will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016, 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory. A Rosary will be recited for Margaret on Thursday, February 18, 2016, 7:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Peter’s Catholic Church on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Chosen to serve Margaret as Pallbearers are Noel Rodriguez, Rodney Rodriguez, Mike Sanchez, Gary James, Nick Padilla, and Robert Montoya. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerome Sedillo Jr and Donovan Sedillo. Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to be chosen to serve the Sedillo family in their time of need.
