Maria “Lupe” Guadalupe Baeza, 59, passed on Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was born February 3, 1959, in Redford, Texas. Always having a smile on her face, Lupe made the best of every situation, willing to help in any way she could. Lupe was a very hard worker. She was a compassionate caregiver, being loving and kind. She loved her many friends and had a special relationship with each one of them. Dancing and singing were some of her favorite things to do. But most of all, she loved being around family and friends. Lupe worked with Chavez County Joy Center for 15 years. As well, she worked for J & J Home Healthcare for 13 years. Left to cherish the memory of Lupe are children: Angela Marie Madrid and husband Angelo, Fidel Thomas Baeza III, and Marcelo Anthony Baeza and wife Violet Rose; siblings: Mary Pasillas, Rosa McNeil and husband Richard, Gonzalo Junior Montoya and wife Diana, Abel Montoya, Javior Montoya, Juanita Aguilar, Danny Montoya, Gabriel Montoya and wife Ashley, and Tio Santos Valenzuela; grandchildren: Miguel Ceballos Jr, Adam Baeza Madrid, Fidel Thomas Baeza IV, Angelina Baeza, Isaiah Villareal, and Roman Baeza; great-grandchildren: Leanna Baeza, Marcelo Baeza, Damien Baeza, Joaquin Baeza and Julia Puerto; 34 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Preceding Lupe in death are parents: Gonzalo Salazar Montoya Sr and Patricia Valenzuela Montoya; siblings: Natilia Montoya and Gloria Montoya: grandparents: Ignacio Montoya, Teodora Salazar Montoya, German Valenzuela and Juana Grado Valenzuela; and grandchild, Alma Ashley Baeza. Those chosen to serve as pallbearers are: Fidel Baeza III, Marcelo Baeza, Tootie McNeil, Chris McNeil, Gabriel Montoya, Danny Montoya, Abel Montoya, Gonzalo Montoya III, and Joseph Baker.
