It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, partner, sister, aunt, and friend, Michelle Flores, 56, passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Roswell, NM following a difficult battle with cancer. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Michelle’s family at www.andersonbethany.com There will be a funeral services and rosary at St. Johns on Friday November 3, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. A lunch following interment will be served at Beginnings located at 3908 SE Main. Michelle was born on March 19, 1967, to John and Gloria Miranda in Torrance California. The family relocated to Dexter, NM. This is where Michelle met her lifetime, best friend, Janet Salas Lopez. Michelle and Janet were like sisters. It was later that Michelle’s other best friend Mary Helen Aragon came into her life. She loved them both very, very much. Michelle was always the life of the party. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh would light up a room. To know her was to love her. She touched many lives in her years here on earth. She never met a stranger. Michelle lived her life for her grandchildren. Each and every one of them meant the world to her. She was the best “Bamba” in world. “Bambo” Hector shares her love of their grandchildren. She also had a special love for her pet “Ziabella”. Hector was by Michelle’s side through every step of her battle. His love for her gave her the strength to fight and fight she did. This was the only fight she ever lost. Those left to treasure and cherish memories of Michelle are her partner Hector Saenz; children Carrie Bealer (Jason), Cassandra Sanchez (Alex), Gilbert Flores (Rosanne); stepchildren; grandchildren Daniel, Nehemiah, Liberty, Aaliyah, Aubrey, Sarah, Alex, Mackenzie, Henry, Destiny, and also her step grandchildren: sisters Gloria Lucero, Sandra Alvarez, Louisa Camarillo, Diana Griffin; brothers Richard Miranda (Bonnie), David Lucero, Fernando Lucero and Arthur Miranda; special niece and Goddaughter Jessica Dawson and numerous other nieces and nephews. Michelle is preceded in death by parents John and Gloria Miranda, sister Christina Micro, and father of her children Henry G. Flores. Leonires Ramos and Ernie Chavez. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Hector Saenz, Jason Bealer, Alex Sanchez Jr., Alex Sanchez, Henry Flores, and Gilbert Flores. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Miranda, David Lucero, Fernando Lucero, Nino and Janet Lopez, Alvin Padilla and Mary Helen Aragon and all her nieces and nephews. The family of Michelle wishes to extend sincere thanks to all those who supported her throughout her battle with the horrible disease.
