Pedro Tarin

Pedro Tarin, known as “Welo” to those around him, went to be with God on Saturday, January 30, 2021, with his loving wife holding his hand. On October 10, 1935, Pedro was born to Florentino Tarin and Manuela Romero, in Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico. He loved life, and life loved him back. Pedro grew up in Mulato, where he married Carlota. They moved to Roswell in 1962 and built a beautiful life together filled with lots of great memories. After Carlota’s passing, Pedro was blessed to find love again with Margarita, and though their time together was not long, they loved one another with everything they had. He was of the Catholic faith. Pedro worked in the farms during his early years and after that for TMC/Nova Bus, where he retired after twenty-plus years. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, gamecocks, and his racehorses, but, most of all, Pedro loved gathering with his family and making his famous Asado. On a nice day, you would find him swinging (often sleeping) in his porch swing. Seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought a smile to his face. Pedro opened his heart and his home to many people. He loved deeply and made many friends throughout his journey. Pedro will truly be missed by those who knew him. Those left to cherish Pedro’s memory are his wife, Margarita; children: Raul (Stella), Daghoberto (Phyllis), Augustin (Lorena), Michael (Angela), David, Raul, Magdalena, Rafael, Adan; and daughter-in-law, Rose; and he was blessed with twenty-eight grandchildren; and thirty-six great-grandchildren. Pedro is preceded in death by his wife, Carlota; children: Arturo, Miguel, Luzmila, and Lupe; great-granddaughter, Atalie; and his siblings: Isabel, Petra, Petronila, Socorro, Magdalena, Ramona, Juan, Dorotea, and Jose. Pallbearers: Hector Tarin, Hector C. Tarin, Jaime Tarin, Pete Tarin, Gilbert Tarin, and Damien Tarin. There will be a Viewing for Pedro at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Pedro’s tribute was written in his honor by his family. Después de la muerte de Carlota, Pedro fue bendecido para encontrar el amor de nuevo con Margarita, y aunque su tiempo juntos no fue largo, se amaban unos a otros con todo lo que tenían. El era de la fe católica. Pedro trabajó en las granjas durante sus primeros años y después para TMC/Nova Bus, donde se retiró después de más de veinte años. Le encantaba el aire libre, acampar, cazar, pescar, gallos de pelea y sus caballos de carreras, pero, sobre todo, a Pedro le encantaba reunirse con su familia y hacer su famoso Asado. En un buen día, lo encontrarías balanceándose (mayormente durmiendo) en su columpio del porche. Ver a sus nietos y bisnietos siempre le trajo una sonrisa a la cara. Pedro abrió su corazón y su hogar a mucha gente. Amó profundamente e se hizo de muchos amigos a lo largo de su viaje. Pedro realmente será extrañado por aquellos que lo conocieron. Los que quedan para apreciar la memoria de Pedro son su esposa, Margarita; niños: Raúl (Stella), Daghoberto (Phyllis), Augustin (Lorena), Michael (Angela), David, Raúl, Magdalena, Rafael, y Adan; nuera, Rose; y fue bendecido con veintiocho nietos; y treinta y seis bisnietos. Pedro es precedido en la muerte por su esposa, Carlota; hijos/hijas: Arturo, Miguel, Luzmila y Lupe; bisnieta, Atalie; y sus hermanos/hermanas: Isabel, Petra, Petronila, Socorro, Magdalena, Ramona, Juan, Dorotea y José. Portadores de féretros: Héctor Tarin, Héctor C. Tarin, Jaime Tarin, Pete Tarin, Gilbert Tarin y Damien Tarin. Habrá un Velorio para Pedro en Anderson Bethany Funeral Home el Miércoles, 3 de Febrero de 2021, de 2:00 PM a 6:00 PM, seguido de un Rosario que se recitará a las 6:00 PM. Se llevará a cabo un Servicio Funerario en la Funeraria Anderson Bethany el Jueves, 4 de Febrero de 2021, a las 2:00 PM. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio de South Park. El tributo de Pedro fue escrito en su honor por su familia.
