Richard Lucero

A Rosary will be recited for Richard Lucero at 7pm , Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez OFM officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 11am-7pm at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Richard was born to Amable Lucero and Librada “Mary” Sigala Lucero on August 28, 1953 in Roswell. He passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the age of 58, surrounded by his loving family. Richard loved his grandkids more than anything in the world. He loved attending all of their sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. He was a terrific father to his children. He loved watching football, fishing trips listening to music, and watching movies. Richard worked as an assembler at the TMC bus plant. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Angela Sisneros and her husband Matthew and Veronica Rodriguez and her husband Cruz; grandchildren, Raymond Gonzales, Isabel Lucero, Christopher Gonzales, and Carmen Lucero; the mother of his children, Donna Lucero; brothers Ernie Lucero and his wife Pat, Frank Lucero and his wife Gloria, and Michael Lucero and his wife Dianne; Sister, Betty Garcia; and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He will also be missed by his many friends. Preceding Richard in death are his parents, Amable Lucero and Librada “Mary Sigala Lucero; Frank Jeffery, his dear friend ; uncle, Philaberto Sigala, Sr., nephew, Frank Lucero, Jr., and cousins, Frank Valencia and Rita Sigala Gomez. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandkids, Raymond, Isable, Christopher, and Carmen. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Franco, Fermin Archuleta, Frank Lucero, Sonny Sigala, Michael Lucero, Mike Chaves, Matthew Sisneros, Cruz Rodriguez, Phil Sigala , and Bert Sigala. Any contributions are welcomed and greatly appreciated and will be accepted at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. God Saw He Was Getting Tired God saw he was getting tired And a cure was not to be.
