Terry L. Clements, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her eldest daughter’s home in Hagerman, NM. There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Sergio, from Church on The Move officiating. Interment will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery. Terry was born to Johnny and Margarite Clements on May 23, 1959, in Roswell, NM. Terry’s greatest love was spending time with all her children and grandchildren. She loved to hang out with them at home laughing, talking and catching up on everything going on in her grand babies’ lives. She enjoyed having family dinners whether it was cooking at home or going out to favorite restaurants. She loved to try and steal hugs and kisses from Swayzee and Kazleigh, or just sitting on the couch with Gabby, Braden, and Avion, learning the new things they were up to. She enjoyed going shopping for new things for her home or as we would say, “a lot of window shopping”. She enjoyed when her friends would go by and visit so they could talk about old times and of course all their babies and their many accomplishments. Terry worked many different jobs throughout her life to provide for her children. At the time of her passing she was disabled and no longer working. Terry was a very simple woman who was happy with life and lived most of her life in Hagerman, NM. Her survivors include her three beautiful children: Chris Franco, Brandie Medrano (Gonzalo Morales), and Jena Becerra; her four precious grandchildren: Gabby Ordonez, Braden Ordonez (Alissa Fierro), Avion Mendoza, and Swayzee Mendoza, NM; her precious great granddaughter, Kazleigh Ordonez, all from Hagerman, NM; her sister-in-law, Tracey Clements from Roswell, NM; many nieces, nephews, cousins; a bonus son she loved dearly, Johnny Mendoza; and a very dear childhood friend, Mary Jane Cobos. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Clements; her beautiful mother, Margarite Clements; both of her brothers: Jimmy Clements and Robert Clements; and a very special Aunt who helped raise her, Ozellia Mathews. Honorary Pallbearers: Gabby Ordonez, Braden Ordonez, Avion Mendoza, Swayzee Mendoza, and Kazleigh Ordonez. We love you momma/grandma, and miss you so very much, this isn’t goodbye, we will see you later in a place that will never hurt any of us again! Rest up there with the God Almighty our Precious Father and Your Beautiful Momma! Her children would like to say a special thank you to everyone that has reached out to them during this tragic time in their lives. 2 Timothy 4: 7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. The Broken Chain: We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
